Returns & Repairs
Every Lewis Guitar is handcrafted in our workshop in Cantley, Quebec. We stand behind our work and want every customer to feel confident in their purchase.
Returns
If you're not completely satisfied with your guitar, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your instrument.
Return Requirements
- The guitar must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- It must be in its original condition, with no damage, modifications, or excessive wear.
- The original case, packaging, and any included accessories must be returned with the instrument.
- The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- The buyer is responsible for properly packaging and fully insuring the shipment while it is in transit back to Lewis Guitars.
Once we receive and inspect the instrument, we'll process your refund to the original payment method.
Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If a returned instrument shows signs of damage or use beyond normal inspection, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of repairs or refinishing from the refund.
Custom Orders
Because every custom instrument is built specifically for its owner, custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun.
Reservation deposits secure your place in our build schedule and are non-refundable after work has started on your instrument.
Repairs & Warranty
Lewis Guitars are built to be played, and we're here to support you long after your purchase.
Electronics Warranty
We provide a 5-year warranty on the original electronic components and workmanship against manufacturing defects.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Strings
- Frets worn through regular use
- Finish checking or natural aging of nitrocellulose lacquer
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, modifications, improper storage, or unauthorized repairs
Shipping for Repairs
- The customer is responsible for shipping the instrument to Lewis Guitars.
- Return shipping from our workshop is also the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
- We strongly recommend shipping your guitar in its original case and packaging, fully insured.
Non-Warranty Repairs
Even if your instrument is outside its warranty period, we're happy to help.
We offer repair, maintenance, setup, and restoration services for Lewis Guitars whenever possible. Repair costs will be quoted before any work begins.
