About Us
I grew up in the 1990s with a cassette in my Walkman, sawdust in the garage, and the feeling that guitars were more than just instruments, they were a lifeline.
Even as a kid, I didn’t just want to play guitars. I wanted to understand them, fix them, shape them. I was the one helping friends restring their busted Strat copies or soldering noisy jacks on the floor of a basement jam space. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was already doing what I’d love for the rest of my life: serving musicians.
That mission, to serve musicians, still drives everything I do. Lewis Guitars was born from that spirit: the idea that a guitar should feel like home, sound like truth, and stand up to life on the road. Every instrument is built from raw lumber in-house, with an obsessive attention to detail rooted in that same passion I had sketching guitar shapes in the margins of my school notebooks.
Today, I offer three original models shaped by years of hands-on luthier work and a lifelong love of the electric guitar’s golden era. As a kid, I was a huge Leo Fender fan, I admired how he created tools for working musicians, not museum pieces. That same spirit influences my work today: honest, road-ready guitars built for players who care more about feel and tone than flashy specs.
If you're looking for a guitar that feels personal, plays effortlessly, and is made by someone who lives for this craft — you're in the right place. \

Problematic as I spent all Saturday night playing and didn’t have any time yesterday nor will I until next weekend. And now that’s all I want to do! She’s amazing. Wonderful to play and sounds beautiful!! THANK YOU!

I really like it. The finish is great too. The neck surprised me, very different from anything I have, I really like how it feels!
You are making a great product, really enjoying the pickups too!

Hey! I’m loving it, really impressed with everything from the build quality, the finishing/aging, the pickups sound really articulate and full, and I’m super particular about my necks and this one is incredibly comfortable - thanks so much for the hard work! Minnow

Got the guitar! It’s sooooo sick! I love it! Plays like a dream and looks killer! Great build and thank you again for everything. Made my day!

I LOVE THE GUITAR!
Wow, it's so easy to play and the tone is incredible. Not to mention the look. I'm in love.
Kudos for the fingerboard and fret leveling, not a single one is off, haha, my friend luthier noticed.

I seriously can’t express how much I love my Minnow. It’s been so comfortable to play and I haven’t been able to put it down. I love it so much and I play enough and other two names that I’m interested in buying a second one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hi Dave- have been playing my new Revealer for a couple hours now and it’s just awesome!!
It sounds excellent. Both the neck and bridge pickups sound amazing. The neck is comfortable and I find certain grips easier to play in real time.
I started recording an album recently and I’m going to redo many tracks and use the revealer.

Hey, just wanted to let you know I took the Minnow out to band practice last night and it was a delight! My band mates liked the way it sounds too. Also showed off a photo in a songwriting community I’m in. Responses included “looks like a real peach of a guitar”, “real workman’s tool”, and “eye-popping” 🙂

I’m loving the Minnow! I’ve tried it through a few amps and it sounds great. Very easy to play , the neck feels great and I really like how it’s thicker and the top and tapers off in the higher frets. And I find it has the ease of playability of a short scale but it doesn’t feel like a short scale at the same time if that makes any sense! Anyway I’m really enjoying it thanks again 👍🏻

Hi Dave! Quick update:
Minnow number 19 arrived yesterday at noon, I took it out and played it for 4 hours with all the packaging still around the floor. Then I ate and played it again for 6 hours. Time flew by fast hahaha
I love it! Amazing feel and tone! Love all the details and build, can't put it down. Honestly if the guitar costed 3k I would buy, I wish you all the success, or at least the amount of success you want with Lewis Guitars!
