Description

Handcrafted in Québec

Quietly built.

Every Lewis guitar begins with carefully selected materials, thoughtful design,
and the time required to build it properly.

The Adélie in Hull Island Sand is finished in medium-aged
nitrocellulose lacquer, giving it the look and feel of an instrument that has
already settled into its own character. The aging is intentional—not to imitate
decades of wear, but to remove the feeling of something brand new.

An aged mint green pickguard complements the soft, weathered tone
of the finish and reinforces the instrument’s understated vintage character.

Built one at a time in our Québec workshop, every Adélie is
shaped, finished, assembled, wired, aged, and professionally set up by hand.

The Adélie Platform

Familiar where it matters. Distinctly Lewis everywhere else.

The Adélie combines an alder body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard
with a 25.5-inch scale length, 9.5-inch radius,
and Medium C neck profile.

Lewis hand-wound JM pickups are paired with CTS controls
and Orange Drop capacitors.

A Descendant Tremolo V4 and
Descendant Universal Companion Bridge provide a stable,
responsive vibrato system with a familiar offset feel.

This instrument also features a broken-in neck feel,
giving the neck a smooth, familiar character from the first note.

Because each Lewis guitar is built and aged by hand, subtle variations in finish,
