Handcrafted in Québec
Quietly built.
Every Lewis guitar begins with carefully selected materials, thoughtful design,
and the time required to build it properly.
The Adélie in Thurso Teal is finished in medium-aged
nitrocellulose lacquer, giving the instrument a familiar, settled character
while allowing the depth of the teal finish to remain the focus.
An aged mint green pickguard adds a soft vintage contrast
and complements the cooler tone of the finish.
Built one at a time in our Québec workshop, every Adélie is
shaped, finished, assembled, wired, aged, and professionally set up by hand.

The Adélie Platform

The Adélie combines an alder body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard
with a 25.5-inch scale length, 9.5-inch radius,
and Medium C neck profile.
Lewis hand-wound JM pickups are paired with CTS controls
and Orange Drop capacitors.
A complete Mastery bridge and vibrato system provides
stable performance, smooth vibrato response, and a familiar offset feel.
This instrument also features a broken-in neck feel,
giving the neck a smooth, familiar character from the first note.
