Built in Québec, played everywhere.

Built by hand for players who actually play.

Lewis Guitars began with a simple idea: build instruments that feel alive the moment you pick them up, lightweight, resonant, broken-in, and ready for years on the road.

The story

Why these guitars exist.

I started Lewis Guitars because I couldn’t stop chasing a certain feeling.

The guitars I loved most always felt alive, lightweight, resonant, worn in, and responsive. Instruments that disappeared in your hands and made you want to keep playing.

Over time, building became less about recreating vintage guitars and more about understanding why certain instruments stay with players for decades.

Every Lewis Guitar is built with that same goal: to feel familiar from the first chord, but still have its own voice, character, and life.

Our philosophy

Small details matter.

A guitar should not fight you. It should respond, resonate, stay clear, and make you want to keep reaching for it.

Feel first

Every guitar is shaped around comfort, balance, response, and the way it feels in your hands.

Thin nitro finishes

Our nitrocellulose finishes are made to breathe, age, check, and wear naturally over time.

Built for working musicians

Designed for stages, studios, rehearsals, and the real places where instruments earn their character.

Small batch production

Built, finished, assembled, and professionally set up in our small shop in Cantley, Québec.

The workshop

Made by hand in Cantley, Québec.

Lewis Guitars are built in small batches, with attention given to the details players actually feel: weight, balance, neck feel, resonance, setup, and response.

From sanding and spraying nitro to fretwork, assembly, aging, and final setup, every instrument passes through the same hands before it leaves the shop.

The models

Each model has a reason to exist.

Built to become part of your life.

Lewis Guitars are built to be used, on stage, in studios, in bedrooms at 2am, and anywhere music actually happens.

Not as museum pieces, but as instruments that wear in, open up, and become more yours with time.
